Upcycling a Thrifted Dress

step 1

I marked the dress 22 inches above the hem.

In addition to removing the top portion of the dress, I removed the buttons and those weird tie thingies in the back. (I actually sewed them together and used them for my waist band).

I gathered the dress, attached the waistband, created a back seam, and added a zipper.

I used some of the leftover fabric to create poCKets.

I paired my new skirt with a top I thrifted from the Goodwill for $4.00 ;)

                                       and these pearl and gold earrings.. of course I made them!

fashion show

yesterday i've been to a fashion show..!!it was a wonderfull night.i was the presenter of the show..I wore a one-piece shorts backless with linen fabric.for accessories I wore a handmade red necklace with a heart.my shoes were made ​​of wood and red fabric and various colors to decorate it.my shoes definitely stole the show <3 soon I will have photos to show you.
